Provider and scope
These terms apply to business merchants using PostcodePilot. Studio 8022’s legal provider and contact details are on the business details page. Shopify’s terms also govern your use of its platform.
The service
PostcodePilot helps merchants configure UK postcode delivery pricing and availability within the supported Shopify setup. Supported plans, currencies and limitations will be described on the app listing and in onboarding. It does not verify that an address exists, arrange a delivery or guarantee a carrier’s service.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of your delivery areas, prices, exclusions and customer-facing information. Review changes before publishing and test checkout after changes to rules, shipping settings, themes or other apps. Keep an appropriate fulfilment process for orders already accepted. You must have authority to connect and configure the store.
Subscription and trial
The launch plan is US$4.99 per month with a seven-day free trial. The price, billing period, trial eligibility and any applicable taxes shown in Shopify’s approval screen control the subscription you approve. After an eligible trial, billing begins unless you cancel before it ends.
Manage cancellation through Shopify’s subscription controls or uninstall the app. Disabling postcode rules alone does not cancel billing. Charges already incurred may remain payable under Shopify’s billing terms. Contact our business contact address about an incorrect charge or refund request; statutory rights are unaffected.
Availability and changes
The app depends on Shopify and hosting services. We maintain and improve the service but do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular sales outcome. We may change features to maintain compatibility or security and will provide notice of material changes where reasonably possible.
Acceptable use and ownership
You may use the app for stores covered by your subscription. You must not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with another store or misuse the service. You retain your store content and configuration data; Studio 8022 retains rights in its software and branding.
Data protection
Our privacy notice explains the information we process. Do not enter unnecessary personal information in rules or send customer records when a sample is sufficient. Our data processing terms describe processing performed on the merchant’s behalf and form part of these service terms when the app is used.
Ending the service
You can stop using the app and cancel through Shopify. We may suspend access for a material breach, a security threat or failure to pay, subject to applicable law and appropriate notice. Before uninstalling, review the app’s current removal guidance and verify your store’s shipping settings afterwards.
Responsibility and disputes
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Each party remains responsible for losses for which it is legally liable. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, or any liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. The app does not replace your responsibility for fulfilment or checking the delivery rules you publish.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, subject to any mandatory protections that apply. Please first contact us to try to resolve a dispute. If it cannot be resolved, disputes may be brought before the competent courts; these terms do not remove any jurisdiction or statutory remedy required by applicable law.
