Coming soon. These instructions describe the app workflow once installed through Shopify. The public demo uses example data and does not send customer emails or create orders.
BespokePilot connects a product-page enquiry to your quote workflow. Use an Online Store theme whose product template supports app blocks.
1. Choose a plan and verify your email
Open BespokePilot from Shopify Apps. Choose Monthly or Annual in Plans and confirm the details on Shopify’s billing screen. In Settings, enter your notification and reply address, send the verification message and open its link. Confirm the address on that page.
2. Create your form
In Forms, set a clear button label, heading and description. Add up to eight questions, choosing text, long text, number, date, select or checkbox fields. Mark only essential questions required and save your form. The preview uses example content and does not send anything.
3. Choose eligible products
In Settings, choose all products, specific products or collections. Excluded products always take precedence. Products must be active and published to the Online Store. The selector currently shows the first 40 catalogue entries.
4. Add the product-page block
- In Shopify, open Online Store → Themes → Edit theme.
- Use the page selector to open Products and the product template you want.
- Inside the product information section, select Add block → Apps → BespokePilot enquiry form. Place it near the product’s variant and quantity controls.
- Choose a Button style: Automatic matches the product’s Add to cart button where available; Solid and Outline offer custom colours; Text link keeps a simple underlined link. Set full width or compact width, colours and corner rounding in the block settings. The fallback contact link uses the same style.
- Save the template. Check which products use it before changing a live theme.
- Return to BespokePilot Settings and enable enquiries. Open an eligible product page, select a variant and quantity, then send a test enquiry using an address you control.
If the theme does not offer app blocks inside product information, ask its developer about compatibility. Do not paste code into your theme. Products outside the selected targeting rules do not display an active enquiry button.
5. Reply and prepare a quote
Open the enquiry in the app. Review the product, quantity and customer requirements. Send a reply, add private notes and set a follow-up date. Incoming email replies go to your verified mailbox; they are not imported into BespokePilot.
Create a Shopify draft order, open it in Shopify and review the recipient, item quantities, prices, discounts, tax and shipping. Save the draft, return to BespokePilot and refresh it. Review the invoice preview before choosing Send invoice. A changed draft requires a fresh preview.
6. Track the outcome
A draft or sent invoice is not a payment. BespokePilot checks linked Shopify payment status and marks verified paid outcomes separately from manual statuses. Refunds can change the recorded outcome. Shopify’s normal order-access window can limit later verification.
Allowances and common issues
Both plans include 1,000 enquiries and 5,000 app emails per usage month. The app shows your current usage. No automatic overage charges apply. Pausing enquiries does not cancel the subscription; manage billing through Plans and Shopify.
If the form is unavailable, check the active plan, verified reply address, enabled setting, product targeting and template placement. If a send has an uncertain outcome, check before retrying. For a draft creation timeout, reopen the enquiry so BespokePilot can reconcile the original draft instead of creating another.
Export and deletion
Use Export enquiries to download your records. Deleting an enquiry requires typing its reference. Shopify drafts, orders and mailbox copies remain in those services. Export what you need before uninstalling.
Change plans or cancel
- Open Plans in BespokePilot and choose the billing option you want.
- Review the price and effective date on Shopify before confirming.
- To cancel, uninstall through Shopify Settings → Apps. Turning off enquiries alone does not cancel billing.
Before you go live
- Check an eligible product and an excluded product on desktop and mobile.
- Change variants and quantities and confirm the enquiry records them accurately.
- Submit with an email address you control and check the notification and reply.
- Review a draft and invoice before sending anything to a real customer.
